What To Take To Rehab

What Am I Allowed To Bring To Rehab

Every therapy clinic permits certain things while forbids others and this is very important to know this once getting ready for treatment.

Rehab centres have strict policies in place regard what an inpatient can bring with him or her. Majority of facilities give you a list of permitted and prohibited items.

You will be required to check in after you arrive at the rehab and begin the process for the admission. During this time, the admissions team belonging to the centres will inspect your belongings to ensure safety and to understand whether any prohibited items are also included. All the details of what you came in with will be recorded in the patient property book.

However, all treatment centres allow you to bring in the necessities that are required. Every clinic has rules on additional items.

In case you got no one with you at the time of admission, they will hold the item for 24 hours until your representative can claim it. It is possible that the centre might store the item till your release day.

You are likely to travel alone if you are commuting by air and so there won't be anyone to take the prohibited items home. We highly recommend that you consult and clarify with the rehab centre first about their policies and other things of concern.
